Today in Room 4 literacy we explored the technological process and the steps we take to create something.
The class was set with a task; create a tower out of jelly beans and toothpicks that could hold the most books. Whoever's structure held the most, won!
We looked at the brainstorming part of the process, where we talked about our ideas.
Then we had 5 minutes to research online as much as we could about the best way to make a structure. After that we had to draw a plan to show what our idea was, and then we created! Below are some photos of us hard at work, creating a masterpiece to hold books.
The winners get a chocolate prize!

The year 8's are working hard at showing us newbies how it works here in Team 5! We are all pretty excited about all that is happening this year, and it's pretty cool being the seniors of the school!
We are really looking forward to sharing our learning with you this year, so check back here, or on our own personal blogs for more updates! Happy 2017!
